At reception
Fair queues and calm waiting rooms
Checked-in visitors get a ticket, agents call them to a counter and the waiting-room screen shows the calls — never a name.
What you get
Daily tickets
A-001, A-002… restarting each day for each queue.
Calling console
Call next, recall, send back, transfer, serve or mark a no-show.
Order and priorities
Call order and priorities defined per queue.
Public screen
One display link per screen, on any TV with a browser, rotatable if leaked.
Daily statistics
Volumes, waiting times, service times and target compliance.
Delay alerts
An alert when a waiting-time target is exceeded.
How it works
- Create your queues
One per service, with its counters and targets.
- Issue tickets
From the visit, when the visitor is checked in.
- Call and serve
From the console; the waiting-room screen updates itself.
What makes a waiting room tense
Waiting itself is not the only problem. What frustrates people is not knowing how long is left, seeing someone go ahead of them and hearing their name shouted across the hall. A well-run queue answers all three: a number, a clear order and a discreet display.
How the queue works day to day
- At reception, the agent checks the visitor in and hands out a ticket for the right queue (A-001, B-001…), renumbered every day
- At the counter, the agent calls the next person from their console, recalls someone absent, transfers to another queue or marks the service done
- In the waiting room, a TV shows the number called and the counter, never a name
- Management follows volumes, waiting times and service times queue by queue
No expensive hardware
VisitSoft does not need a ticket kiosk. The waiting-room screen is a web page opened on a TV or any screen with a browser. Each screen has its own display link, which you can renew at any time.
A ticket tied to a visit
Unlike a dispenser of anonymous tickets, every VisitSoft ticket belongs to a visit. When the visitor is served, the agent already sees their purpose and history, and the service is added to the record. Reports by purpose and by department become possible.
Set targets and keep them
For each queue you set a target waiting time. VisitSoft alerts when it is exceeded and shows every day the share of visitors served on time. To work out how many counters to open for your footfall, use our free waiting-time calculator.
Who it is for
Bank and microfinance branches, hospitals and clinics, civil registry and document offices, tax and social security counters, universities during enrolment: anywhere several counters receive a large public.
Frequently asked questions
Do we need kiosks?
No. Tickets are issued at reception; a TV with a browser is enough for the display.
Are names shown on screen?
Never. The screen only shows ticket numbers and counters.
Can we measure waiting times?
Yes, daily per queue: waiting, service and target compliance.
